Parrhesia 3.0 partnered with St. Vincent de Paul Cincinnati’s winter coat drive by having collection bins at the event.
In doing this, we hoped to offer an important reminder about the poverty not just in Cincinnati, but virtually every suburb and neighborhood in our area. Thankfully, St. Vincent de Paul’s important ministry is there to help.
Parrhesia 4.0 hopes to further engage our participants by offering the opportunity to sign up for an evangelization project that will take place on October 22.
At our April 18, 2015 event there will be a presentation on the upcoming opportunity and folks will be able sign up to be a part. It could be handing out hot chocolate and blankets to the homeless. It could be praying outside of an adult entertainment store or venue. It could be something similar the recently held Night Fever in Chicago.
The New Evangelization calls us to be Christ to the world, we need to be prepared to go wherever we are called. We pray for our willingness, as a Church, to speak boldly and with courage.
